Water Management System (Weep System)
Built into every Sun product is a water management (or weep) system that allows water to drain out of the exterior frame, sash or panel components. This prevents damage from water that might otherwise become trapped within the frame, window sash or door panel.

Sash Weep System Any water that might happen to penetrate around the glass is drained to the exterior through the sash weep system. |
Fixed Lite Weep System All fixed lites have weep slots with hinged covers that allow water to drain from frame extrusion. |
Door Threshold Weep System SunClad Hinged Doors have a weep system built into the threshold that directs water to the exterior. |
