Door Hinge Adjustment Points

Before Making Any Adjustments To The Hinges

Be sure to anchor the top hinge to the wall stud with a 3” screw. See door installation instructions for more information.

For Horizontal Adjustments

Examine the reveal (space between the door panel and frame) around the perimeter of the door panel. Use the Horizontal adjustment to correct clearance issues between the sides of the panel and the frame.

Horizontal Adjustment - Loosen Set Screw

Loosen set screws B & C of the bottom knuckle with a 2.5 mm Allen Key.

Horizontal Adjustment - Adjust

Adjust at the bottom with a 4 mm Allen Key through the bottom screw.

Horizontal Adjustment - Tighten Set Screw

Tighten both set screws with a 2.5 mm Allen Key.

For Vertical Adjustments

Use the Vertical adjustment to correct positioning issues where the door panel is too low or too high. Select one hinge to start with, position the panel as needed, and then adjust the other hinges to match.

Vertical Adjustment - Loosen Set Screw

Loosen set screws B & C of the bottom Knuckle with a 2.5 mm Allen Key.

Vertical Adjustment - Adjust

Adjust up & down with a 5 mm Allen Key. Clockwise = up
Counter Clockwise = down

Vertical Adjustment - Tighten Set Screw

Tighten both set screws with a 2.5 mm Allen Key.
