Sliding Door Foot Bolt Instructions

1. Download and print the Installation Template at 100% scale.
2. Using the template, locate and mark the four mounting holes on the end of the operating panel. 
3. Drill pilot holes for the screws.
4. Fasten the Foot Bolt to the panel with the screws supplied.
5. With the Foot Bolt installed and the operating panel in the fully closed position, engage the Foot Bolt and mark the location where it contacts the wood on the stationary panel. This is the location of the first semi-circle on the Keeper. Note: the two semi-circles on the Keeper provide one latching point with the door panel fully closed and a second point with the door partially open for ventilation.
6. Install the Keeper in this location with the screws supplied.
7. Mark both semi-circles with a pencil.
8. Remove the Keeper.
9. Drill a 3/8” hole 1/2” deep at each semi-circle location.
10. Re-install the Keeper.
