Sliding Doors offer many of the same features and options as our in-swing and out-swing doors but in a sliding door configuration. This one features four panels with two in the middle that slide open for wide access.
Our 4-panel units, also called Quad Sliders, have two fixed panels, one on each end, and two middle panels that slide open.
A dual-latch handle set secures the operating panels when closed while providing an interior and exterior handle to grasp when sliding the panel. The operating panel glides on heavy-duty, stainless steel, ball-bearing loaded, tandem rollers. These rollers are adjustable.
The standard jamb depth is 4-9/16”. A jamb depth of 6-9/16" is also available. See Jamb Options for more information.

Sun Clad Wood Doors, including swing doors, sliding doors, and bi-fold doors, all use a common door panel. These panels are typically full-view glass panels. However, there are several options for configuring the panels to reflect unique styles and designs.
Panel OptionsAll of our extruded aluminum-clad windows and doors are available in a wide range of exterior powder-coated finish colors to coordinate with the design of your project. Click on the link below to see our color choices.
Exterior Color OptionsAn extruded aluminum exterior casing and trim system is available on our clad windows and doors to enhance the visual appeal of the windows and doors. Available in a variety of trim and casing profiles, these extrusions add a dimensional accent to the product and the home or building.
Exterior Trim OptionsOur 4-panel units, also called Quad Sliders, have two fixed panels, one on each end, and two middle panels that slide open.
Because of their large size and weight, these units are available in a KD (or knock-down) version where the frame comes in a kit to be assembled on-site. See our Assembly and Installation Instructions.
Fully assembled units are available when they are sized within our shipping limitations.
Our clad-wood products feature clear pine interiors that are ideally suited for staining or painting. Choose to have your windows and doors delivered without any interior finish so that you can stain or paint them yourself or have them primed or painted at the factory with your choice of one of our standard interior finish colors.
Our Dual-Latch Handle Sets are available in two styles: Contemporary and Signature.
For the active panel, the Interior Handle has a latch lever that manually secures the door panel in its closed position. The Exterior Handle is available in two versions. One is a plain handle without a lock. This version cannot be unlocked or unlatched from the exterior. The other version has a keyed cylinder lock that provides access from the outside using a key.
The secondary operating panel (or passive panel) also has a handle set. This handle set has no latching or locking function. Latching is provided by the hardware on the active panel. Therefore, the interior and exterior handles on the secondary panel only provide a handhold and are known as passive handles. This is also sometimes referred to as a dummy handle.
See the Handle Set options on the Hardware Options page.
