Simulated Checkrail
Using 2-1/4” SDL
This is a special application of the 2-1/4” SDL, used as a horizontal divider to simulate a checkrail. Typically applied to a casement or fixed lite window, it can simulate the look of a double-hung from a distance. It can be used by itself or combined with 5/8”, 1”, or 1-1/4” SDLs.

Using 2-1/4” SDL
This application of the 2-1/4” SDL simulates the look of a mull or double mull (shown). Typically applied to a casement or fixed lite window as a vertical divider, it gives the appearance of two windows mulled together. It can be used by itself or combined with 5/8”, 1”, or 1-1/4” SDLs.
