A single crank operator, with a fold-away style handle, is located at the center of the sill to open and close the sash. Two latch levers, one on each side jamb, unlock (and lock) the sash. The hinge/glide system is located near the top of the sash so that it opens outward and up. The sash opening is limited by crank operator arms.
The operator is completed by a cover and folding handle. These are available in two styles: the standard Contoured or optional Contemporary cover and handle.

The Awning window uses two side pivot hinges that allow the sash to open outward with a pivot point near the top of the window opening.
There are two Sash Latch Levers, one on each side jamb that release the sash to be opened. The lever cover and trim piece match the selected finish of the operator cover and handle.
